Ok, that's progress.  I've managed to boot a VM on amazon and have put
sun cluster tools 8.1 (Open-MPI 1.3r19845-ct8.1-b06b-r21) on it, I
should be able to get this up and running from this end now.  I'll let
you know how I get on.
